Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) / Branch Manager with a strong background in sales and marketing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase membership, promote our financial products (RD, FD, Gold loans, etc.), and expand our market presence. As a Branch Manager, the candidate will oversee branch operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage a team to achieve business goals.
1. Sales and Marketing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, marketing techniques, and customer relationship management. Ability to develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve business targets. Experience in market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth. 2. Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage the sales and branch team. Ability to train, mentor, and guide team members to enhance their sales skills and performance. Competence in conflict resolution and decision-making. 3. Business Development and Networking: Proficiency in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and expanding the customer base. Skills in networking with local businesses, farmers, and traders to promote cooperative society services and schemes. Strategic thinking to drive growth and achieve the organization’s long-term goals. 4. Customer Service Orientation: Excellent customer service skills to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Ability to handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively to build trust and loyalty. Developing customized solutions to meet the financial needs of clients (e.g., loans, RD, FD, insurance). 5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions and internal communication. Negotiation skills to close deals with clients and partners. Ability to communicate in local languages (Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, or Hindi) to connect with regional clients. 6. Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial products, agricultural financing, cooperative banking, and loan processing. Ability to analyze financial statements, manage budgets, and ensure profitability of the branch. 7. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, sales data, and branch performance. Problem-solving abilities to address challenges in sales and marketing, customer service, and branch operations. 8. Operational Management: Competence in managing branch operations, including administrative tasks, compliance, and reporting.
